Released on November 11, 2001, the PlayStation 2 port of Half-Life is widely regarded as one of the finest PC-to-console adaptations of its era. Developed by Gearbox Software, the port successfully brought Gordon Freeman's iconic Black Mesa survival story to home consoles without sacrificing core level design, pacing, or narrative elements
